User verdicts
User verdicts · independent of our own tests aboveA free account basically can't complete a full run; it got stuck halfway, and in the end I borrowed a member's account to get the deck made. I came for a PPT in one minute and had to pay at the very first step.
The pages it generates have really poor taste: the layout and colors scream machine-made. I wouldn't dare use them as is for anything remotely formal.
Data reports are the worst: you can't paste data into a chart as a block, only type it in cell by cell. Charts have few options, so I ended up making the chart elsewhere and pasting a screenshot back in, and the screenshot can't be edited.
What I do now is have other tools write the outline first, and it only turns the outline into slides. Judged on that step alone, its generation is the strongest of everything I've tried.
No matter which AI makes the PPT, the template feel is too strong; you can tell at a glance a person didn't lay it out. This one doesn't escape that either.
It gets you about seventy percent there, and it's a bit better at revising an existing PPT than starting from scratch. But it's half-done; the other thirty percent is on you.
When presenting a specific product, it won't use real product photos; whole pages are text and convoluted structure diagrams. The image the audience wants most is exactly what's missing.
